By using CalorieTalk, you agree to these Terms and to any additional terms shown inside the app or required by the app stores.
Using CalorieTalk
CalorieTalk helps you describe meals, turn them into editable food logs, and track estimated calories, macros, targets, streaks, and progress.
You must use CalorieTalk only for lawful, personal, and permitted purposes. You are responsible for the information you enter and the decisions you make from it.
Accounts and deletion
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity that happens through your account.
You must provide information that is accurate enough for the app to function properly, especially profile and goal details used to calculate targets.
If you create an account, you can initiate deletion inside the app from Profile → Delete account. You can also use the website deletion page at /delete-account.
Nutrition and health disclaimer
CalorieTalk is a nutrition tracking and productivity tool. It is not a doctor, dietitian, medical device, or emergency service.
Calories, macros, targets, and progress are estimates and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Do not use CalorieTalk as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Do not use the app for emergency health decisions. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have an eating disorder history, have allergies, or follow a prescribed diet, speak with a qualified professional before relying on nutrition targets or changes.
Nutrition limitations
Nutrition data may be incomplete or inaccurate due to user input, AI interpretation, database differences, portion estimation, food brands, food preparation, cooking method, and serving size differences.
You are responsible for reviewing and editing food items, portions, calories, and macros before relying on them.
Your content
You keep ownership of the meal descriptions, notes, profile details, feedback, and other content you add.
You give CalorieTalk permission to process, store, display, transform, and analyze that content as needed to operate the app, provide AI meal understanding, improve reliability, and support your account.
You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, misleading, or violates another person’s rights.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with security, attempt to reverse engineer protected parts of the app, scrape the service at scale, submit malicious code, impersonate others, or use CalorieTalk to harm people or systems.
Paid features
CalorieTalk Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks unlimited voice and text logging. Price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation method, and any extra terms are shown before you purchase.
If paid features are purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable Apple or Google payment, subscription, renewal, cancellation, refund, and store terms may also apply.
Third-party notices
CalorieTalk may rely on cloud authentication, database, and hosting providers; Google Gemini for AI processing; FatSecret for food or nutrition information; a transactional email provider; a product-analytics provider; a crash and diagnostic reporting provider; a subscription-management provider; notification and app infrastructure providers; and Apple or Google where applicable for app distribution, sign-in, payments, and platform services.
Some nutrition data is powered in part by FatSecret. FatSecret is not responsible for CalorieTalk’s app experience, user entries, health decisions, or support.
Third-party services may have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
Availability and changes
We may update, pause, remove, or change features as the product improves. We will try to keep CalorieTalk reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Intellectual property
CalorieTalk, including its name, design, interface, copy, software, branding, and product experience, belongs to Seif Nazmy or licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of the app or website.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CalorieTalk is provided as is and as available. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by relying on estimated nutrition information.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, unless local consumer protection law gives you rights that cannot be waived.
Third-party data
Nutrition data in this app is provided in part by the fatsecret Platform API. By using CalorieTalk you also agree to be bound by the fatsecret Platform API Terms of Use (opens in new tab).
Termination and contact
We may suspend or terminate access if you break these Terms, create risk, or misuse the service.
